2. Categories of data

During normal operation, IT systems and software procedures involved in running the Site acquire data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols (IP addresses, timestamps, browser information, referrer). This data is used solely to derive anonymous statistical information about Site usage and to monitor proper operation.

The optional, explicit and voluntary submission of data through the Site contact form involves the subsequent acquisition of data provided by the sender, including: name, surname, professional role, company, email address, content of the request, and any other data voluntarily communicated.

4. Processing methods
Personal data is processed using automated and manual tools, following principles of lawfulness, fairness, minimization, and purpose limitation. Adequate technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, logging) are in place to prevent loss, unlawful or incorrect use, and unauthorized access to data.
5. Communication and transfer of data
Data may be communicated to:
- Internal authorized personnel and collaborators of Beren Software, properly instructed;
- Technical service providers (hosting, email, form processor) appointed as Data Processors under art. 28 GDPR;
- Public authorities, when required by law.
The contact form is handled via the provider Web3Forms (EU/USA). Any extra-EU transfers occur on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission (decision 2021/914) and/or adequacy decisions under art. 45 GDPR.
6. Data subject rights
Users may exercise the rights set out in articles 15-22 GDPR at any time:
- right of access to personal data;
- right to rectification of inaccurate data;
- right to erasure ("right to be forgotten");
- right to restrict processing;
- right to data portability;
- right to object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to withdrawal.

7. Provision of data
The provision of data marked as mandatory in the contact form is necessary to respond to requests; failure to provide such data will make it impossible to reply. The provision of optional fields is voluntary.
8. Minors
The Site is not intended for users under the age of 16. Beren Software does not knowingly collect data from minors. Should a parent or guardian become aware of such data being processed, they are invited to contact the Controller immediately for deletion.
